Case studies involve in-depth and detailed examination of students. As evidenced by their data in Teaching Strategies Gold, the three students I selected made immense advancements during their time in my class. Ayden is a fully-remote student with an individualized education plan. The District 2 Pre-K Centers utilize Teaching Strategies Gold as an assessment tool. This comprehensive system has been found to be valid, reliable and developmentally appropriate. It requires teachers to make ongoing assessments during regular, daily activities across 38 objectives that are aligned to Common Core State Standards. I use this information to address the individual needs of children.

Ayden, Ben and Aisha all demonstrated development in their learning from fall to spring. The blue color indicates that the student is performing at a Pre-K Level while scores in front of the blue color show that the child is performing below standard. Scores above the blue mean that the child is performing above the current grade level standard.
